A toke is like the tip that the dealer receives at the end of the game, from the players. Usually given out by the winners of the entire game at the table, players consider the dealer as a bringer of good luck and therefore, handover a chip or more to them as a tip or reward for bringing that luck.

The toke is an important part of the dealer’s income and at times, is a major contributor to it.
