Spread-limit
Spread limit games are a variation of poker where players have a minimum and maximum limit for betting. Whenever a player wishes to place a bet, s/he may do so within the limits, known as the spread. In case of raises, the same rule applies. This sort of betting structure ensures that the pot doesn’t grow to beyond control limits and make the stakes of the game too high too quickly. There is however, no limit on the number of times a player can raise during the course of the round.
