Runner-runner
If a player completes her/his hand by picking up outs on the turn and the river, then s/he is said to have made a runner-runner. Runner-runners are also known as backdoor. For e.g. if a player has 4-5 in hand with the Flop showing 9-7-K, then the player doesn’t have a strong hand to play with. However, if the turn card is a 6 and the river is a 3, then s/he gets the straight and pulls off a runner-runner.
