Probe bet
A probe bet is the bet made by a player who, before the flop, wasn’t leading the betting round. This means that before the flop, s/he didn’t make the raise or the bet that started the betting process. However, it is important that the player who didn’t start the betting round in the pre-flop stage, doesn’t act after the flop, i.e. checks or folds.
