A missed bet occurs when a player fails to place a bet that s/he is meant to. This is always in the case of a forced bet that is missed, mainly due to the player not being present on the table at the time. All such forced bets need to be repaid by the player when s/he returns to the table and until that point, the missed blind is considered null for the round when the player is absent.
