Full bet rule

The full bet rule is a law of poker that is applicable only in some casinos and game rooms. The rule states that for a player’s action to be considered valid, s/he needs to bet the full amount that constitutes a raise. As an example, a player playing in a $8 fixed limit game can try to raise by $15 but the action won’t count when the full bet rule is applicable. In such a case, the player needs to ensure that the bet is valued at $16, or the full bet, to count as a raise.

The full bet rule is generally rule that is applied by some casinos and is used only to raise the pot quickly and maintain interest levels of all the players.
