Freezeout

A freezeout is the most common form of tournament that is played around the world. It is the average tournament where all players get just one chance to get into the tournament by paying the entry fee. Once eliminated, a player cannot buy in again at any point of time. Along with no buy in period, these tournaments are concluded only when one player ends up with all the chips.

In freezeout tournaments, there can be a single or multiple tables and the players keep moving and shifting tables till they reach the main table. At the main table, the winner is again decided through just one single manner – defeating all other players on the table.
