Deal
Dealing is one of the most basic requirements in the game of poker. The main definition of the word “Deal” in poker is quite diverse although the basic definition usually refers to the distribution of cards to the players in accordance to the requirements of the game.
In some cases, a deal is referred to as another way of saying hand. Basically, in this version, it refers to everything from shuffling the cards and handing them out to the players to placing bets and finally awarding the pot to the winner. Due to its ambiguity, Deal is rarely used to signify such a process.
In poker, players are often known to make deals with other players especially to share the pot at the end of the game. This is something that is separate from the rules and regulations of the tournament and can be used by players at any level of the game and anywhere for that matter.
