Cutoff
The cutoff, in a game of poker, refers to the seat immediately to the right of the dealer. Although a player on the dealer button doesn’t usually shuffle or deal the cards in casinos and tournaments, in home games, it is usually the case. In such a case, the person sitting to the immediate right of the dealer is responsible for cutting the cards and hence, her/his seat is known as the cutoff seat.
