Chip dumping
Chip dumping is a common practice that is followed the world over by poker players with varied levels of experience. It is not uncommon to see a couple of players, or more, get together during the early rounds of a game and go all-in. The outcome usually is such that one of those players wins a major hand from the word ‘go’ and therefore, for the remainder of the game, that player has a better chance of winning.
At the end of the game, the players who got together and planned this chip dumping session all get a share of the winnings. In a way, chip dumping is a form of fixing the initial part of the game and the way it is run. This ensures that at least one or more players end up with big stacks and end up with a greater chance of bullying their way through to winning the game.
