Irregularity
An irregularity is a form of abnormal condition of play that is not in accordance with the rules of poker or the casino, card room or tournament where the game is being played. These actions or situations, such as unexpectedly exposed cards or a deck that slips out of the hand may require special action and for that, the rules of the tournament or card room or casino may need to be consulted.
Such irregularities are quite uncommon in online versions of the game simply because of the programmed nature of the house dealings and the dealer, in the Internet games.
