In a game of poker, a calm and calculating mind is absolutely essential. However, there are times when a player may lose her/his temper and even get frustrated or confused due to the actions on the table. At such a time, the loss of concentration usually leads to poor decision making and thus, poor playing strategy. This state is known as tilt.
