Loose
Loose is a term which is used to describe the playing style of a particular player. Loose players are known as that mainly due to their ability to play with weaker hands even. They choose to play even though they might not have anything significant to play with.
Players who are playing loose are known to be less likely to fold when another player is bluffing or throwing a semi-bluff. Loose players are generally known to continue with any sort of hands as long as there is a small chance of getting something out of it. Therefore there is no requirement as such, for a loose player to continue with a high value or made hand.
When playing against a loose player, it is considered advisable to draw to incomplete hands such as flushes. When playing against loose players, such drawing hands offer better pot odds as well as a stronger hand, as compared to single pairs, that are normally the deciding factor in multi-way pots.
