To flash a card in poker means somewhat the same as it means in normal life. While shuffling cards, the dealer may accidently show the bottom card, something that may cause change in the game’s outcome. The term is also used at the end of a particular round when all players, except one, may have folded. The winning player may choose to show one or both cards to the others around her/him as well as not show any. Depending on what the player chooses, s/he can be said to have flashed the other players with that particular number of cards.
