Every time a dealer has dealt the cards to all the players on the table, s/he counts the remaining cards in the deck. In case the number of remaining cards, along with those that have been dealt out, do not add up to a full deck, then the hand is deemed illegal and the round is re-dealt with a new set of cards. It is imperative that the dealer count the deck although this isn’t done after every single round.
