Combo, combination game
A combination game or combo is the name given to a table in poker where there are multiple forms of poker being played in rotation. Poker can have as many variations that can be brought to the table and out of all of them, there are a few variations that are quite famous across the world like Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hold’em, Seven Card Stud and many more.
While there is no particular sequence of the type of games that will be played on the table, the dealer makes the decision. A combination game can also be played after taking a general consensus from all the players although this is more common in the case of home-based games.
Games played on online venues do not have combos or combination games simply because there is a possibility that a player might not know how to play a particular variation. On live venues, players are made aware of this fact before sitting down on the table, something that isn’t quite common in a game where people prefer one style or the other.
