Private Tournaments

Play Your Weekly Home Games Online With this simple guide you'll be organising tournaments for your friends, family and colleagues in no time. You chose how you want it and we do the rest!

Creating Tournaments

  • Go to the Tournaments lobby
  • Choose the Private Tournaments section.
  • Click on the blue 'Create Tournament' button.

Selecting Features

  • Choose between a Scheduled or Sit & Go Tournament
  • Choose all the different features of your tournament.
  • Choose the password and then send it on to your friends who you'd like to participate. Private tourneys are all password protected.
Your friends find your tournament in the Private Tournament section and login with the password.

A Scheduled Tournament starts at the specific time that you have chosen whereas the Sit & Go will begin as soon as all players are seated.

A Sit & Go Private tourney can still go ahead even if not all players turn up. You can decide when to start as long as the minimum number of players is seated.

What are the Rules for Private Tournaments?

General Rules for Private Tournaments

  • Only real money Private Tournaments can be created and only real money players are allowed to create them.
  • The player creating a Private Tournament is the one that may cancel it.
  • The Private Tournament will appear in the lobby within a minute from the moment it was created.
  • The Private Tournament is automatically named after the creator of the tournament.
  • Each player can administrate a maximum of one Sit & Go and one Scheduled Private Tournament at the same time. If a player's tournament gets cancelled (by the system or the administrator itself) the administrator may create and administrate a new Private Tournament of the same type.
  • The servers have a maximum limit on how many Private Tournaments that can be handled at the same time, so even if a player does not administrate any tournaments he may not be able to create a Private Tournament since the server has reached its maximum.
  • A password is required for signing up to the Private Tournament. It is chosen and communicated by the creator of the tournament and may be of length 0-8 characters.
  • Participants must state the correct password to be able to register to the tournament.
  • It is not possible for players to schedule a Private Tournament to start during planned maintenance/downtime.

Specific Rules for Scheduled Private Tournaments

  • Scheduled Private Tournaments can not be started by the player who administrates it (the creator).
  • It is possible for the administrator to cancel a Scheduled Private Tournament if no players have signed up to play.
  • If a Scheduled Private Tournament reaches its start date without having the minimum number of players signed up, it is automatically cancelled and the administrator is able to create a new Scheduled Private Tournament.

Specific Rules for Private Sit & Go Tournaments

  • It is possible for the creator of the Private Sit & Go Tournament to start the tournament when the number of signed up players have reached the minimum number of players.
  • It is possible for the administrator to cancel a Private Sit & Go Tournament if no players have signed up to play.
  • If a Private Sit & Go Tournament has no signed up players it will be cancelled within an hour from creation.
  • If there are too few players signed up for the Private Sit & Go Tournament to start automatically, it will get cancelled within 12 hours.
