Euro Poker granted French gaming licence

Euro Poker has been granted a gaming licence for the French market by ARJEL, the Regulatory authority for online games in France.
As of January 1, 2012 Euro Poker will offer legal real money poker to French players at EuroPoker.fr.

According to a study, over 98 percent of the French players gamble responsibly, which shows that the French market is mature and ready for an established poker product like Euro Poker. The study was conducted by the National Institute of Prevention and Health Education and the Observatory of Drugs and Drug Addiction. -

24-year-old Florian Höller, “TheFlowjob”, is Team Euro Poker’s latest member.
The confident Austrian Florian Höller, “The Flowjob”, has been a professional poker player for almost four years. He started playing online poker eight years ago after being tired of the weak competition in the small Austrian town where he lived.

− After the first time I played online and saw the payouts I knew that this was for me, and that I would become a poker player. Especially since I always won in every card game I played. I trained and practiced very hard to become a successful poker player and had an incredible determination, Florian says describing his journey to becoming the talented poker player he is today.
And he loves the game, and lives and breathes poker, as he puts this himself: “All I do is poker related somehow; even my girlfriend plays now.” And he plays a lot. 60 hrs per week or more is not a rarity and when he feels the drive, he can really go crazy. At one point he played as much as 200.000 hands in a single month.
− The best thing about playing poker is that you are playing with other people, and try to outthink the other one. The battle of wits is very exciting. That’s also why poker has to be played for a prize, cause as soon as there is nothing to win, people don’t give their best, and then playing poker is as pointless as a whole. So even if the prize money is 1 cent, it changes things, says Florian about the thrill of the game.
So how come he has chosen Euro Poker as the poker site where he spends all his hours of poker action?
− The best thing about Euro Poker is that there is a lot of action and the player pool is a good mix of fish and good players that are challenging you. I also love the fact that the SH games are 5 max, not 6 max and that there are 3 handed tables too. Did I say I love action? -

Juli über die Entscheidung der Alderney Gambling Control Commission (Alderney Glückspiel Überwachungskommission), sämtliche Lizenzen von Full Tilt aufzuheben.
